iRubric

Page history last edited by Keith Schoch 11 years, 1 month ago

Resource Name: iRubric

URL: http://www.rcampus.com/indexrubric.cfm

Uses: Assess, Respond and Reflect

Description: Create rubrics for any assignment. You choose the categories for scoring, and enter the criteria. Existing rubrics from a library of thousands can be customized as well. iRubric also features a Click to Grade option that allows you to get a percentage grade from your rubric.

Applications for the Reading/Language Arts Classroom:

  • Create rubrics focusing on only the most important attributes of an assignment.
  • Encourage students to create their own rubrics for self-reflection.
  • Sample embedded rubric.

Notes and Caveats:

  • It's tempting to include too many categories since they're so easy to add.
